Soft skills training

This skill includes a demonstration of how simple scenario based training techniques can be used to develop soft skills i.e. personal attributes that enhance an individual’s interactions, job performance and career prospects. Challenges are presented and feedback is provided based on the student’s choice, guiding them down the correct path to the successful outcome of a Performance Management Review.

Mobile training

This is an example of an interactive training sequence captured from a mobile phone and then further developed with Captivate. You can use your mobile phone or iPad to view this skill.

Unconscious Bias

  • Unconscious biases and how they impact our thinking, behaviour and decisions is an increasing important topic.

It’s particularly interesting for those who like to have an understanding about why the people around them think and behave the way they do.

But as well as being interesting, it’s an important topic in all organisations that seek to create and sustain a professional work environment.

Induction training

  • This is an example of a bespoke course developed using Articulate Storyline. Please listen and interact with the course to get some ideas of how you might approach putting your Induction course online. We have completed similar projects for large law firms, firms with International offices and UK firms with a number of offices around the country.

  • This is an example of a generic but customisable course developed using Articulate. The interactive online course has been designed to introduce new support staff who have not previously worked in the legal sector.

An excellent product which uses a very simple format to educate business support staff in the complex terminology, jargon, structures and principles of the Law.  All this information is out there already, but Ad Alta have brought it together in one place.  It’s a huge benefit to us that it can be done in the person’s own time, at their desk, and within days of joining.

We needed to create an Online IT Induction in order to support new joiners in our international offices. As we didn’t have the resources in-house for such a large piece of work we looked at the offerings of several eLearning designers and Ad Alta was our clear favourite as their designs gave us the “wow” factor that we felt was important for the on boarding of new staff.

We provided a training script and they expertly converted this into interactive multimedia eLearning modules. They organised the filming of a short video message from our IT Director which they then embedded our induction. We were consulted throughout the design process thereby ensuring we were happy with the end result.

In addition to this they willingly offered advice and support to help us improve our own eLearning design skills and we were so impressed that we booked some training with them for our own eLearning developers.


We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again the next time we have a large eLearning design project.

I have been working closely with Kate and Pip from Ad Alta Learning Ltd over the last few months, to complete the development of an e-learning course which will form the basis of a complete e-learning series for our product.
